About barbie

I have been dabbling with photography and painting for most of my life. In the last 4 years I have studied with oil painters locally as well as in Tennessee and Louisiana. I have showed and sold my work over the years in the Washington DC area and on Nantucket Island.

I am also an animal lover. I have lived with a dog, cat, horse, gerbil or pet rabbit for as long as I can remember. I have 2 grown daughters and live with my husband and a needy Springer Spaniel who is usually by my side.
